Christal's Keynotes range from 50 to 60 minutes long, and she is willing to work within your desired time-frame. Currently, her four main presentation options  are:

1. "My Silence is My Consent" - How to begin social change right where you are.

• When we look around us at everything that is wrong in the world - or even at what is wrong in our own lives - it can seem overwhelming. The problems can look too big and the challenges in our own lives can cloud our vision, causing apathy and indifference. In this presentation, Christal will encourage your students to recognize how they can change their own lives today, and then point to new and exciting possibilities for how they can become catalysts for positive change in the world around them.

2. "Generation:Hero" - How to overcome personal pain and setbacks, and wake up to what you can do in the world around you.

• It is easy to see that there is something unique and exciting about this emerging generation of young people. They are full of limitless opportunities and potential, yet so many of them are held back and unable to pursue their dreams because of obstacles that have gotten in their way. Drawing parallels from her own personal journey and those of some of our friends at Live Different, Christal will invite, challenge, and inspire your students to begin to identify some of the mindsets that keep them from moving forward, and how to cross that hidden boundary.

3. "The Stuff of Legends" - How leadership starts with us and the decision we make. (personal and bigger picture leadership)

• Very few of us ever stop to consider the incredible power that our lives have, and how the ways in which we choose to live influences the world around us. We think of a 'leader' as someone who has it all together, who is popular, who is established, and the list goes on. But, the truth is that leadership is learned and everyone is capable of leading through the choices they make and the people their lives impact. In this session, Christal will help dissolve the myths of leadership, and motivate your students to find creative areas in their own lives where they can become leaders who transform the world around them.  
• Please note: this is presentation is also available in a workshop format for smaller groups.

4."Live Different: Live Global" -   How to be globally aware and start to bring about positive change in your school and community today. 

• Global awareness and social justice are huge part of what we do at Live Different, and this session is an opportunity to not only to inform your students about things happening in the world, but also to motivate and inspire them to take active steps towards being part of the solution.Through personal stories, interactive breakouts and engaging media, students will be challenged and inspired to add their voice and lives to the movement of change and hope around the world. During their time with Christal, they will be left with some practical first steps and inspiration to begin to "Live Different", both locally and globally.

What is the cost of booking a keynote speaker?

• Live Different requires an honorarium for keynote speaking engagements. The suggested fees are dependant on the type of event, number of speaking engagements/workshops/sessions, and travel costs.  

Do you require a deposit?

• Yes, Live Different requires a deposit at the time of booking to reserve Christal for your event. The amount of the deposit will be arranged at the time of booking. It is non refundable, and protects our speakers from last minute cancellations or pre-paid travel costs.

Can your keynote speakers cater their topics to our event?

• Of course! Although Christal has a set list of topics available, she is able to work with you for your specific event, time frame, and unique messaging. Please contact Christal directly to discuss options.
