Academy Program Coordinator

Parker began his journey with LiveDifferent as a teenager on a build trip to the Dominican Republic and has since been a summer intern, a volunteer build lead, and an Academy student in Mexico. He has International Development degrees from York University and Humber College. As the Academy Coordinator, he is passionate about sharing his enthusiasm for knowledge, growth, and leadership with all students he works with.

What do you love about what you do?

Building meaningful relationships that have an effect in all areas of life. LiveDifferent is such a welcoming and inviting space and my time with the organization has truly helped shape who I am today. Seeing today’s youth succeed and reach their goals, whether that be in academic spaces or elsewhere, motivates me to live my life with compassion and a purpose.

It’s karaoke night and you have no choice but to perform. What song would you choose and why?

Easy choice. Hakuna Matata, because it means no worries for the rest of your days, a problem-free philosophy!!
