Indigenous youth throughout Canada have proven to be incredibly resilient, despite experiencing the effects of generational trauma. Still, these young people continue to experience a lack of hope and vision for their future. Are you an Indigenous young person who has a heart for instilling a sense of hope and positive change in their lives?

This award was created to give passionate Indigenous young leaders the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Indigenous youth across Canada while seeing their own lives transformed in the process.

In 2016, Live Different began working alongside Indigenous Chiefs, educators, and community leaders to create a program that would empower Indigenous youth from coast to coast. Since then, we have made over 70 community visits with our two-day motivational programming. This program continues to reach more young people with each school year and the community feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
