Meals that Matter: Feeding Futures at École L’Union

A simple meal. A powerful impact.

For many children in Calvaire, Haiti, their school meal is their only meal of the day. Your generosity fuels education, hope, and a brighter future for an entire community. We’re raising $45,000 to fund the remaining three days of meals each week for the upcoming school year — that’s more than 37,000 meals served with care and compassion. Why it matters

At École L’Union, more than 300 students rely on the school’s nutrition program for the nourishment they need to learn and grow. Each meal costs about $1.20 CAD, but for families facing extreme poverty, that cost can stand between a child and their education. When children are fed, they stay in school, focus better, and dream bigger. This simple meal program is a lifeline for students and their families — a symbol of hope and opportunity for the entire community of Calvaire.
