At LiveDifferent, we believe in the power of focusing on what truly matters. It's easy to get sidetracked by the less important things in life, but when we take the time to reflect and prioritize, we can make a real difference.


A Compassion Project is a simple yet impactful way to bring positive change to your school or community. By identifying a need and taking action to address it, you can make a significant impact. Whether it’s something small, like creating handmade cards for someone going through a tough time, or something larger, every effort counts.

Letters of encouragement

Write out meaningful letters of encouragement for others.

Appreciation surprise

Plan a special event, celebration or act of kindness to show your appreciation for a teacher or community member that is under-recognized.

Kindness blitz

Plan out and do as many acts of kindness as you can in 1 day!

Donate to a local cause

You can host a bake sale, open up a lemonade stand, or anything else you might be able to sell. Handing over the cheque to the Board representative of a charity makes for an epic photo op.

Coordinate a donation drive

You can compile items that are needed in your community like socks, books, or toiletries.

Inspire and educate your community

Host a workshop or deliver a presentation to educate your peers and community members. You can talk about anti-bullying, being an active bystander or any other topics that might resonate.
