This fund helps families and communities in Mexico and the Dominican Republic when they need it most. The more we worked with the people of these communities, the more we understood how unexpected challenges bring about additional hardships to those working hard to get ahead. The Emergency Relief and Community Development fund allows us to further support these communities by responding to urgent or critical challenges, assisting with community projects and providing emergency relief in the face of natural disasters.

While working with local leaders, government officials, community members and organizations, we are able to:

01

Respond to immediate needs

We help meet the needs of the families and communities that we work with when they are faced with additional hardships. Some of these needs include access to medical care, food insecurity, school fees, home repairs and more.

02

Assist with community projects

We invest in projects that can help strengthen the community as a whole. This fund has been used to build recreational facilities, roads, bridges and water cisterns, and make repairs and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

03

Provide emergency relief

We’re able to support communities when they’re faced with natural disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and major storms. This fund helps them to make repairs and provide supplies to rebuild after a disaster.
