About Academy

Picture this: for 12 unforgettable weeks, you’re not just visiting Mexico—you’re living within it. You will wake each morning amid the vibrant atmosphere of local life, sharing breakfast with other students and local staff, learning Spanish in context, rolling up your sleeves for service projects with your neighbours, and strolling the streets immersed in local culture.

You will learn through multiple experiential learning opportunities with self-reflective practices and curriculum learning. After 6 weeks, you will head home for a week of refuelling during our “reading week” break before returning to Mexico to complete the second portion of learning.

You’ll return for five more weeks of deep cultural immersion—savouring home-cooked meals, navigating marketplaces, working alongside community members, and embracing traditions passed down through generations. This is the LiveDifferent Academy experience in Mexico: a journey that doesn’t skim the surface—it plunges you into the heart of daily life, where real connection, growth, and transformation take root.

Deposit:

$500 deposit is required within 2 weeks of registration and is fully refundable until LiveDifferent has confirmed the minimum number of students have registered. Students will be notified by email once the program is confirmed (on or before April 30th, 2026) for the upcoming semester. The full tuition payment and fundraising goal are due in full by July 1st, 2026.
